Hotel developer Beechwood Pinnacle Hotels is planning a $73 million renovation of a 109-year-old historic building along Grand Boulevard in downtown Kansas City Missouri. Beechwood Pinnacle Hotels is expected to start construction on its conversion of the 13-story Rialto Building at 906-910 Grand Blvd. into a 240-room AC Hotel by Marriott late this year and the project then would be completed in 2023. The AC Rialto plans to include a first-floor restaurant and bar, plus meeting space and an exercise facility. The hotel will not include on-site parking and instead anticipates using an 85-space lot about two blocks away, at 710 Walnut St., for valet service. Beechwood manages 20 hotels with 2,183 guest rooms throughout Arkansas, Oklahoma and Mississippi.
