Entertainment developer Cordish Company is proposing to build a $1.4 billion mixed use development that would include a casino and hotel in Petersburg Virginia. Proposed to be named Live! Casino & Hotel Virginia, the casino will include 670,000 square feet of gaming, hotel, dining and entertainment space; a 200 guestroom room hotel; 2,000 slots and electronic table games and 60 live-action table games including poker; sportsbook, event center, a dozen food and beverage outlets and free parking surface.
