Thornwood Development will soon begin building its second hotel in Germantown, Tennessee. The Germantown Board approved final site plans Monday for the sixth phase of Thornwood Planned Development, a 17-acre mixed-use project. The 114-room Marriott-TownePlace Suites will rise at the northeast corner of Neshoba and Germantown Road and include 5,000-square-feet of commercial space on the first floor. The 5-story hotel along with a 63-space parking garage and a 49-space surface lot will cover 1.2 acres and Ray plans to break ground in the fall.
